Getting warning about losing track of messages

When I run mbsync, I get the following message on one of the mail folders:

Warning: lost track of 10 pushed message(s)

This is for the Drafts folder.

I am using mbsync in combination with mu4e and Emacs.

Is this something to be worried about ? What is causing mbsync to loose
track
of messages ?

Here's my connection settings:

## connection
Channel work-all
Master :work-remote:
Slave :work-local:
Patterns "INBOX" "Trash" "Drafts" "Sent-Messages" "Sent"
Create Both
Expunge Both
SyncState *

## group settings
Group work
Channel work-all

Any help would be appreciated.

cheers,

mehul

usually not.

What is causing mbsync to loose track of messages ?
typically interruptions/connection breakdowns.

you can try the master branch from git (soon to become the 1.3.0
release), which should not emit spurious messages of this kind any more.
if you still get them, there is probably a genuine problem.

FYI,

The warning now states that it has lost track of 21 messages.

I will take a look at upgrading to the head version from source code
sometime after the 12th.
